Gentle Yoga for a Healthy Back
The health of your back influences all aspects of your life, from posture, to work, play and even sleep. Yoga techniques are effective in both preventing back issues, and alleviating pain by working through many different back issues.
Based on the Hatha Yoga style combined with therapeutic asanas (poses), this class will focus on gently strengthening and stabilizing the upper and lower back muscles while increasing flexibility to improve long-term back health.
This class is beneficial to people with physical challenges, seniors and/or anyone who wants a milder form of exercise.
This is a 6-week introductory course and will run on Thursdays from 7pm - 8pm, October 13 through November 17.
